I also tried entering it under Configuration Properties->Debugging->Environment as a "PATH=<...>" value. The path is: U:\Software Development\c++ projects\myProject\myProject, and when I go to that folder, I can see myProject.h in the folder. #include "stdafx.h" #include

I have copied the .h files to the CL directory like it says to on http://www.khronos.org/registry/cl/ page but when I started to write a small segment of code fatal error c1083 to just make sure it will build i am getting the error: Cannot find CL\cl.h and if i change it to openCL.h for my include it tells me the same thing just cannot find CL\openCL.h This is only a short piece of the code that should compile and build according to this website and also straight out of the book Heterogeneous Computing chapter 2 full source code. #include
in it's manual.. Even after including all the header and source files, I keep getting "fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file" error for the main library header file.. I tried all the combinations of "" and <>. Also tried to remove .h but nothing works. I tried putting the header file in the directory too.. Any help would be highly appreciated.. Many thanks, Abhijit Oct 29, 2009 at 3:39am UTC firedraco (6199) If you put it in one of the compiler's "standard" directories, you should only have to use < >. Are you sure it is not inside a folder or something? Oct 29, 2009 at 4:04am UTC abhipro (20) Hi, It's in another folder not related to the standard directories.. but now... when i included the entire path.. "D:\...\ ... xyz.h", it worked fine. Although it worked, I think this is not the right way. Any suggestions.. Regards, Abhi Oct 29, 2009 at 4:24am UTC firedraco (6199) Move it to one of the standard directories. You could also add the path to the list of directories in your compiler. Oct 29, 2009 at 5:03am UTC abhipro (20) Hi firedraco, Thank you for your help. It worked well.. Regards, Abhi Topic archived.
