question. #1 March 2014 0 Quote Yshaar ✭✭✭ It means: Game broke down. We are sorry. Please restart game. #2 March 2014 0 Quote hammered_hippy Soul Shriven So it must be a hardware issue elder scrolls online fatal error 6 as this keeps happening Any news on hardware that causes problems At work I have the slowest 5 year old compu with barely a graphics card...and it plays At home I have a state of the art uber-game rig...and it does not work #3 March 2014 0 Quote Yshaar ✭✭✭ You should open up a support ticket with all available infos about your rig. Maybe it is a error loading /s.v00 fatal error 6 buffer too small software problem with your computer at home. Could be anything really. #4 March 2014 0 Quote jpcolumbiipreub18_ESO ✭ I was running the game fine until this recent patch. Just a note to anybody else that stumbles upon this. Definitely send in a ticket, it could easily be a software problem. #5 April 2014 0 Quote Auric_ESO ✭✭✭✭ First thing I'd do is turn off all addons after a patch and see if it still happens. Sometimes patches break addons until the addon gets updated. "The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit." Morihei Ueshiba #6 April 2014 0 Quote dawnhawk ✭✭✭ A fatal error can be caused by hardware or software. (As simple as I can make that) Do as Auric says - disable all of your addons. If that doesn't work: - check your drivers for updates - check your firewall - check your virus scan - check if you need to repair your client If none of those seem to be an issue - then check hardware In answer to the question - could be ram, could be overheating, could be a dying harddrive/cpu/gpu...could really be anything. But if ONLY
NSX Saturday, November 9, 2013 Fatal Error 6: (Buffer too small) This was my first error message which I received during my lab setup. Where I was trying to install ESXi 5.5 in a Virtual Machine which

was running on ESXi 5.5. I am setting up Nested Virtualization, so that I fatal error 6 buffer too small esxi 6 can get more flexibility to use all the Vmware features which are not possible if I use the normal Virtualization
Error Loading /k.b00 Fatal Error 6 (buffer Too Small)
(One layer of ESXi) on a single physical server. I will blog about Nested Virtualization in the next blog. During installation of ESXi 5.5, I received this error message within few seconds. Resolution: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/62132/what-does-this-mean-eso-encountered-a-fatal-error-error-6 This error occurred while loading the module /sb.v00 of ESXi 5.5, which indicates some problem with the Image, i.e., the ISO image downloaded from Vmware website (in my case). I tried downloading again (on Server 2008 R2) and installing it several time with no luck. I used both vSphere Client and Web Client to upload the media to Datastore. I then downloaded the same image on http://vdm-001.blogspot.com/2013/11/fatal-error-6-buffer-too-small.html Windows 8 and uploaded again and this time it worked!!! The problem was with the media but I couldn't find the reason why it was not working from Server 2008 R2. I then used Md5Checker software to check the MD5 value and match it with the MD5 value of the image on Vmware Website. I was getting a different MD5 whenever downloaded on Server 2008 R2. This was the first time I faced this issue on Server 2008 R2, it worked perfectly for other ISOs. It is very easy to check the MD5 value after downloading the image from any website. VMware provides MD5 value for each download on the same page There are many free software available to check MD5 value, I used md5checker (I got this first when I searched, not promoting) and just a drag and drop of the downloaded image provides the MD5 value Conclusion: This issue happens because of the bad/corrupted ISO image, either download it again or try downloading it on other machine. The system just hangs there. I've tried ESXi5.1 and ESXi5.5 w/ and w/o Dell customization. The error comes up after different files with the different installs (although always in the same spot for the same install) so it makes it look like a size related issue. I've tried turning off fatal error PXE, network cards, Dell's new Life Cycle controller, iDrac, etc. No change. I tried multiple CD drives, multiple burns and multiple ISOs. I've reformatted the storage pools. I'm kind of out of things to try. I've never had problems installing VMware before. It is a 128GB ram system with 3 TB across SAS 8 drives and VMware claims it is all supported hardware. The only thing different from other systems I've used is the build-in SD fatal error 6 cards. I've googled and there are a lot of people getting the Error 6 but the dell customizations seemed to fix everything for them. Not so here. Any one else solved something like this? ESXi shouldn't need more than 2gb. I've turned off the SD card in the bios and it still fails so I'm thinking that isn't it. 0 Jalapeno OP Best Answer Fred7274 Oct 14, 2014 at 2:25 UTC I got it working by switching boot mode to UEFI.
