am wondering how to fix this. I have tried adjusting the .htaccess with no avail. thanks Log in or register to post comments Comments You currently have 64MB of ar-jan commented October 6, 2013 at 9:39pm You currently have 64MB of memory available for php, you should try increasting that to e.g. 96 or 128 MB. In the php settings part of your settings.php, add: ini_set('memory_limit', '128M'); Or read more about increasing PHP memory limit. P.S. in fatal error allowed memory size wordpress general, it's useful to include information on what exactly you have already tried, in this case in your .htaccess. I originally went to sites/default/default.settings.php and couldn't find where the memory section was. I added and it worked. I had the same problem on a site which uses quite a few content types. Apparently there is a memory leak when creating the token help fields. You have two possibilities: - https://www.drupal.org/node/2202915 Your drupal instance is using a total memory of 128 mb. You can try to increase this value to a higher number. (For example writing "php_value memory_limit 1024M" in your .htaccess file will increase the used memory to 1024 mb) OR - If you know how to use tokens, you simply can disable the token help for the pathauto patters admin page. For this, open pathauto.admin.inc and go to line 76. Comment out the three lines where $form[$module]['token_help']['help'] is being set. That's all, now you can access the page without having to increase the used memory! Remember that your comment would be removed when updating the module. So keep that in mind when updating the pathauto module. Closed (works https://www.drupal.org/node/1806792 as designed)Project:MigrateVersion:7.x-2.4Component:CodePriority:NormalCategory:Support requestAssigned:UnassignedReporter:fringedgentianCreated:October 8, 2012 - 19:03Updated:October 8, 2012 - 21:18 Log in or register to update this issue Hello, we would like to use the migrate module to migrate the users in our site from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7. I am working on an empty 7.15 site. On an empty Drupal 7 website I have got the Beer and Wine migration examples to run, however I cannot get fatal error even a very simple user migration working for our users, and the only difference seems to be that we have so many of them. I have tried to copy the beer example to create our own user migration, of course changed somewhat but kept very simple. I think the database connection to the Drupal 6 database is working because I can see on the migrate User Interface that we have not fatal error allowed migrated 365000 users. What happens when I try to run the Migration through the user interface is that it says "Starting migration process" and stays there forever. Meanwhile in my apache logs this error keeps appearing: > PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 239075328 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes) in includes/database/database.inc on line 2139, referer: http://drupal7clean.local/batch?op=start&id=39 I don't think this is actually a problem with memory settings because it is set to 228M. Also, at the bottom of the migration User Interface area is an Options > drop down where you are supposed to be able to limit the migration by a number of items or seconds, and this setting seems to be ignored. I have tried setting it very low (5) with the hopes I could get just a small example going and to to avail. Any thoughts?
