The website ishttp://brickhousemassage.com (the site is live). Whenever I edit https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/block_requests/blockcontroller-failure the page, only blocks that I edit are saved... everything else is erased. I also get a number of errors, the most common being: Fatal error: Call to a member function getInstance() on a non-object in [rootpath]/concrete/libraries/database_indexed_search.php on line 137 Sometimes there are no errors, but the problem persists. Whatever blocks I don't edit on a page are cleared when I save a page. Restarting the site from https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/fatal-error-call-to-a-member-function-getinstance-on-a-non-objec scratch isn't really an option because there are hundreds of pages and this was a year in the making with filling all the content and such. I've reinstalled Concrete5 several times and even recreated the whole website at a different location with the SQL dump. Nothing seems to help. This is a huge issue. I'm freaking out... It all started after I upgraded from (I think it was) 5.3.3 to 5.4.1.1. If anyone knows what might be wrong... not just to get the error to go away, but to make it so I can edit blocks without the fear of everything else disappearing!! Thank you! I haven't tried every block, but it's happened with the Content, HTML, Image, Area Splitter and Slideshow Blocks. It happens on every page. I've been messing with this for hours. Every great once in a while, a page will actually save correctly. Like 1 in 25. jordanlev re

Permalink January 22, 2012 at 12:09 PM So...I tried to update MailMonkey through the dash fatal error today, and it had an error: "1". Now, since the form was in a block on my home page, going to the site produces this: Fatal error: Block::getInstance() [block.getinstance]: The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition "MonkeyBlockBlockController" of the object you are trying fatal error block to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in /home2/meadmcle/public_html/updates/concrete5.4.2.1/concrete/models/block.php on line 328 At any rate, it seems like the best way to go about resolving this would be to either: A) Remove Mailmonkey & reinstall. B) Roll back the home page to a version before I put the mailmonkey block on there. The problem I have with solution A is that I have no idea where the block was installed. It doesn't seem to be in the usual blocks or packages folders. Perhaps that's something that happened during the update? I will try solution B and post an update. Any ideas? meadDate Joined: 12/09/09Karma: 385Answers:0Bio:View Profile View Replies: Threaded Chronological (Earliest First) Chronological (Recent First) rondellaquila replied on Jan 25, 2012 at 7:12 pm Permalink Reply Just so you don't feel lonely, I'm also having the same problem. Error code 1. I can't seem to upgrade or delete the MailMonkey addon. Darn. RadiantWeb replied on Jan 25, 2012 at 9:29
