This error may be a result of recursive includes. Tips Simplify the program by splitting it into smaller source files, and recompile. Do you have debug code that is accidently recursive? share|improve this answer answered Oct 18 '10 at 10:26 Mitch Wheat 215k28345442 My debug code in my opinion is not recursive (infact in MSVS2008 all works properly). Have you suggestion about how can I test if my debug code is recursive? Thank you for the quick reply... –Sbaush Oct 18 '10 at 10:50 unfortunately visual c++ 6.0 raises this error with warning level 3. with warning level 0 this problem does not compare. thank you. –Sbaush Oct 18 '10 at 15:12 add a comment| up vote 2 down vote I just ran in that error... g++ would get it right since it has limits, but not as constrained as

this post in threaded view ♦ ♦ | Report Content as Inappropriate ♦ ♦ VS210 Compiler Stack Overflow when building from trunk Hello All, I'm having some issues building the trunk on my 32bit Windows7 VS 2010 installation.. Everything builds fine until I get to the pcl_filters project. Here's the compiler output. I've tried setting /Zm2000 (up from 1000) but this makes no difference. Has anyone else encountered the same problem? Thanks for any help. 1>------ Build started: Project: pcl_filters, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------ 1> conditional_removal.cpp 1> crop_box.cpp 1> extract_indices.cpp 1> filter.cpp 1>C:\PCL\Trunk\filters\include\pcl/filters/extract_indices.h(123): fatal error C1063: compiler limit : compiler stack overflow 1> C:\PCL\Trunk\filters\include\pcl/filters/extract_indices.h(132) : see reference to class template instantiation 'pcl::ExtractIndices
