But, anyway, I don't see the use of $text_logged in header.tpl. So, open up /home/granary/public_html/admin/controller/common/header.php and comment line 41 (adding a double slash), as follow:Code: Select all// $data['text_logged'] = sprintf($this->language->get('text_logged'), $this->user->getUserName()); http://gepeixoto.com.br gedielson Posts: 52Joined: Tue Sep 30, 2014 5:37 pmLocation: Brazil Website Top Re: Fatal error: by ahmedbilal » Mon Mar 02, 2015 12:39 am Thankyou gedielson.I have made the change which you suggested but now i am receiving another error as folows.Fatal error: Call to a member function isLogged() on a non-object in /home/granary/public_html/admin/controller/common/footer.php on line 8And this is the text in the footer.php fileload->language('common/footer'); $data['text_footer'] = $this->language->get('text_footer'); if ($this->user->isLogged() && isset($this->request->get['token']) && ($this->request->get['token'] == $this->session->data['token'])) { $data['text_version'] = sprintf($this->language->get('text_version'), VERSION); } else { $data['text_version'] = '';

Instead extend from \Magento\Backend\App\Action class, so it will redirect you to login page instead of throwing an error. share|improve this answer edited Aug 10 at 14:18 Akif 485224 answered Aug 10 at 13:26 Jaimin Parikh 1,366217 Thanks, this was the solution. In other words, how did I had to solve this on my own? Did I mis a clue? –Akif Aug 10 at 19:13 in M2, there is different class for backend , where magento check session. You can also use \Magento\Framework\App\Action\Action but here magento doesn't validate session. –Jaimin Parikh Aug 11 at 5:24 add a comme
