When I try to update it I get the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phptemplate_get_ie_styles() in /home/kilro2/public_html/aifunction/main/themes/garland/maintenance-page.tpl.php on line 23 I dont understand why It is pulling the garland theme I am using a different one so I am sure that may be a problem. I am also recieving the error below on my home page which may be related: * user warning: Unknown column 'img_titles' in 'field list' query: SELECT img_css, img_valign, img_titles FROM img WHERE nid = 1 in /home/kilro2/public_html/aifunction/main/modules/img_filter/img.module on line 857. * user warning: Unknown column 'img_titles' in 'field list' query: SELECT img_css, img_valign, img_titles FROM img WHERE nid = 3 in /home/kilro2/public_html/aifunction/main/modules/img_filter/img.module on line 857. I deleted the img_filter module hoping this would help but no luck. Any help would be awesome! Thank You! I am a newbie who started with Drupal 6.1. I then tried the upgrade to v 6.2. Tried to do everything by the book as in disabling all extra modules etc. The upgrade went fine. Then drupal warned me that a couple of the modules were out of date (img_filter, lightbox2, taxonews, and tinymce). I downloaded the latest versions of these and untarred. Note that I am using a multiple site installation of drupal where each site uses some symlinks back to the various drupal folders (very confusing). Anyway, now I get the 'Unknown column 'img_titles'' error, even when creating a new story with an attached image. Can someone point both of us in the right direction? I changed the default language at /admin/settings/language to English and the fatal error didn't occurre. My other German (and English) language sites (multisite-installation) made no problems. The problem is mentioned on http://www.drupalcenter.de/node/25739 (German language) too. Some people attributed this to the absence of the Minelli theme, but Minelli is present in my installation. Update.php also doesn't run regardless of the error as some people suggested. I can confirm that changing the language back to English and running the update then, fixes the problem. Afterwards you can just change back. a client, we were not able to run update.php anymore. The result was a WSOD (white screen of death). I tried to increase the php memory limit and disable my APC. But it didn't help. When looking at the logs, the apache log didn't contain any error. But when looking at the php error log I found this error: Call to undefined function phptemplate_get_ie_styles() in /mystack/themes/garland/maintenance-page.tpl.php on line 23 I started my online investigation and found three possible causes: A lot of people had this error because they removed the Minelli theme from the core garland theme. Putting it back solved their error. Some others reported a problem because garland was in the core themes folder and also in the themes folder of a site in the multi-site stack. The last option was disabling modules until update.php works again. In my case I found a copy of garland that was renamed and resided in a site of the multi-site stack. But trying to change code or remove the theme didn't really help. In the end I started disabling modules and was lucky to immediately choose the right module: supercron. By disabling this module, update.php was working again. I'm posting this here to help people that may encounter the error in the future! Edit: In the meantime this blog post has been picked up by Tim Millwood who saw this behavior on a site of a client. He logged an issue. Did you like this?
