This will fix this issue. ref: http://drupal.org/node/68281 But i am new to drupal and dont know how to do the steps above. I am not in charge of the server the website is hosted on a school sever (UQAM - université du quebec a montreal) Can you , if possible, give me some answers for me to fix these problems? Find out the server operating system; I'm guessing it's FreeBSD. Ask them which version of PHP they're running. Is it PHP 5? Which version of Drupal are you using? This will help narrow down the cause of the problem. Pete. You'd need to be a system administrator on the server to be able to do anything about this... it might be that sessions aren't configured correctly in the servers php.ini file; here's what I have on my Windows machine - [Session] ; Handler used to store/retrieve data. session.save_handler = files ; A

Posted Feb 25, 2007 at 11:33:07 PM Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_set_save_handler() in xarSession.php on line 358 I am getting the above error while installing xaraya 1.1.2 core. I have spent a lot of time researching this and I think it is because the php engine I have installed does not have session support. I also read the http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.session-set-save-handler.php but that does not tell me how to verify whether session support is enabled/disabled. I have php 5.0.5 on Debian-0.8~sarge1 Just can't figure it out and am running out of ideas. Please help how to fix this. Thanks. batman: Michel V. Posted: Feb 26, 2007 11:59:20 AM My advice would be to upgrade your PHP 5 install. PHP 5.2.1 is the current version.
