The only problem is that I can't use wp_generate_attachment_metadata. Does anybody know why that happens? Did I forget to include something? EDIT: I just realized I just forgot to include( ABSPATH . 'wp-admin/includes/image.php' ); php wordpress share|improve this question asked Nov 21 '12 at 22:20 Evo_x 9592721 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote You need to include wp-blog-header.php to set up the wordpress environment. 5, 'post_status'=>"publish", 'post_type'=>"post", 'orderby'=>"post_date
undefined function wp_raise_memory_limit() Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_raise_memory_limit() mleder @mleder 1 month, 3 weeks ago Error message accessing the backend in v 4.6: Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_raise_memory_limit() in /var/www/html/mysite.com/wwwroot/wp-admin/admin.php on line 141 How this occurred: 1) upgraded from 4.5.3 using one-click update inside admin panel. 2) upgrade failed, as admin area was no longer available. Front end was still visible and working. 3) deleted ALL plugins using FTP, only about 6 on this site. 4) manually upgraded WP using FTP. Reapplied all permissions. Restarted nginx. 5) Message as shown above. Notes: in wp-config, there is an entry: ‘define( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13503014/wordpress-using-functions-outside-of-wordpress ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', ‘128M' );' Viewing 7 replies - 1 through 7 (of 7 total) girlieworks @girlieworks 1 month, 3 weeks ago Hi, @mleder. The wp_raise_memory_limit function is defined in WordPress's /wp-includes/functions.php file; so try manually uploading that file again to the server, to see if that resolves the error. mleder @mleder 1 month, 3 weeks ago I wish it were so, checked the functions.php file in 4.6 https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-wp_raise_memory_limit/ package, does have the php routine as the last item on that page. Uploaded the functions.php to the wp-admin folder (overwriting the existing one, which had the same date and time stamp). Restarted nginx. Same error. alwinsol @alwinsol 1 month, 3 weeks ago I had the same problem Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_raise_memory_limit() in /var/sites/d/devcodeadventures.com/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 141 I'm not sure how to FTP to my site. safemachine1 @safemachine1 1 month, 2 weeks ago I have the same problem, I updated WordPress to the latest version, and now whenever I try to access anything I get the message. I don't understand half of the original post (sorry), can anyone explain what to do in simple terms. Thanks in advance… mleder @mleder 1 month, 1 week ago For me, I found that immediately BEFORE you initiate an update (either manually via FTP) or by clicking the update link in the admin area, that any caching that runs on the site needs to be flushed out. Once I started this procedure on other sites that needed to be updated (on the same server), I no longer had problems. alibasheer @alibasheer 1 month, 1 week ago
undefined function is_bbpress() [Resolved] Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_bbpress() zabadac @zabadac 6 months, 1 week ago I would appreciate some help with this. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-is_bbpress-1/ This clash happens with the Avada theme, when the WP All In One Security plugin is activated, using a custom URL for login, but the issue does https://codecanyon.net/item/photo-contest-wordpress-plugin/8320636/comments?page=16 not arise when the plugin is deactivated. When visiting the /mydomain.com/wp-admin/ this error message is displayed. Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_bbpress() in /var/sites/s/mydomain.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/class-avada-template.php on line fatal error 136 https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/ Viewing 10 replies - 1 through 10 (of 10 total) Plugin Contributor mbrsolution @mbrsolution 6 months, 1 week ago Hi, did you install the latest version 4.0.7? This issue is fixed in the latest version. You can read the fix added in 4.0.7 below. Added a new action hook "aiopws_before_set_404" which triggers fatal error call just before the AIOWPS sets a 404. (handy for cases when rename login page is used which affects some themes when accessing "wp-admin" directly) zabadac @zabadac 6 months, 1 week ago Thank you for your reply. I did the update to 4.0.7 via the WordPress admin backend, plugin updates. I have re-tested, and the error occurs for: /wp-login.php /wp-admin/ The does does not occur for: /wp-admin.php /wp-login/ Plugin Contributor mbrsolution @mbrsolution 6 months, 1 week ago Thank you for sharing your findings. The plugin developers will investigate further your issue. Kind regards zabadac @zabadac 6 months, 1 week ago You are welcome, I appreciate the support and trust you can find a solution. Kindest regards Plugin Author wpsolutions @wpsolutions 6 months, 1 week ago The main source of this issue in my opinion is that some themes try to do some admin-specific processing based on whether they see "wp-admin" in the URL. The theme assumes that someone is performing an admi
