Fatal Error During Installation Windows 7
Posts Error 1935 when installing HP printersoftware ByACE99 Jan 31, 2011 Post New Reply I Have just bought a new computer and was in the process of installing my printer drivers/software etc when an error message popped up saying http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02266980 "Fatal Error During Instalation" (Print Screen of error is attached) I have tried all of the solutions noted on the HP website here http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00461235&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=uk#N95 with no success! (I have downloaded the correct/updated drivers from the HP website) My Printer is an "HP Photosmart C4380" and the operating system i am running is "Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit" My previous computer was running the "Windows 7 Professional 64bit" and worked perfectly. If i just plug in the printer the drivers http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/error-1935-when-installing-hp-printer-software.160523/ are automatically installed by windows so i can use the printer except for things like scanning. I believe that the drivers installation is causing the problem so if anyone can find out how to only install the HP Printing Software and not the drivers i think this might work. Thanks for your help! Are you quite certain that you have the software and drivers for 64bit operation. You will need to install all the drivers to allow full functionality, having software only will not work. Have you added any additional software since changing from Pro to Ultimate. Feb 1, 2011 #2 ACE99 TS Rookie Topic Starter Posts: 59 As far as i know i have done all of those things you listed i tried everything on the solutions page but i dont remember one that involved turning off my firewall unless that was included in the msconfig, startup and services section. I am also certain i have downloaded the correct drivers for my 64bit operating system i even downloaded them twice incase one file was corrupted! I understand that i need the drivers to allow
