User installation could not be completed. and I can not open it or any documents with it. I have tried un-installing and reinstalling, but nothing works for me. If I open a terminal and type either libreoffice or libreoffice U% it does the same, and no information in the terminal scripts. User installation could not be completed. I have un-installed using: sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice-core libreoffice-common sudo apt-get autoremove --purge and re-installed from ppa: sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:libreoffice/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade http://askubuntu.com/questions/613941/need-help-installing-libreoffice-4-4-on-ubuntu-15-04 sudo apt-get install libreoffice after a reboot I am still getting the same error. If I start from terminal ~$ libreoffice the same error boxes are displayed as stated above and the program hangs with no further output. if I start using ~$ gksu libreoffice the program starts without errors. LibreOffice Suite now running as expected. Switching to adwaita or something else solved it. Of course it might fail with other themes than numix too. I put at button on it. Yes. I wish to press it, but I'm not sure what will happen if I do.
