set the printer up at the new location, we keep getting the following error message:On/Off 002: Fatal error 01F6E018, 01F6DFB4, 01F64998This message comes up every 15 - 30 minutes, requiring a okidata error codes reboot of the machine each time.I don't know if there was a problem that occurred oki fatal error codes in the physical move of the machine or if Vista is causing problems (or if it is something coincidentally arising that is unrelated oki c610 error codes to those two issues). Any ideas? Thanks. Respond to this 0 I have the same exact error on my Oki C5150n, 002: Fatal error 01F6E018, 01F6DFB4, 01F64998.Like the poster above I did recently move my printer, but it oki c610 010:fatal error worked fine for weeks. Also like the poster above I added a new computer to the network and the failure occurred after installing the C5150n drivers.I did several restarts with no change. I also removed the drivers from the new computer which did not fix the recurring error messages.Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.Best RegardsAldo, by unknown on Nov 2, 2007 at 10:55am Add comment Please sign in to comment
Oki Fatal Error 928
0 We solved the problem by putting a $59 printer server box on the printer. There is still one Vista computer that is having trouble printing to that printer (after one spool, the user has to reboot to print again), but otherwise it's working okay.I do find it odd that no one at Okidata was able to understand what the specific error codes meant. by nv040212 on Nov 2, 2007 at 11:13am Add comment Please sign in to comment HelloI read about your solution to the network problem in Okidata C5150. Could you tell me what was the print server brand you got?Regards, - Anonymous 0 Thanks nv040212.I'm using WindowsXP which I had on the last system that worked just fine. I just ran the printer without incident for nearly 2 hours with the WindowsXP computer off, but it shut down within 2-3 minutes of me turning the computer back on and logging into WindowsXP.I did send a message to Oki just before I made my original post here, but I haven't heard back yet. I have to imagine you and I aren't the only ones that have reported this to Oki, especially considering that this has occurred on 1 XP system and at least 3 Vista systems on your end. Thanks for your help. If I find an alternate fix I'll up

The number of the error corresponds to the cartridge experiencing the problem: 160 – Yellow Oki Cartridge 161 – Magenta Oki Cartridge 162 – Cyan Oki Cartridge 163 – Black Oki CartridgeThere are three possible causes of this error, so check each one and eventually you’ll find the issue!Cause 1: Cartridge is not lockedTo ensure a cartridge is properly clicked in during the installation, Oki provides a nice helpful locking system on their cartridges. However, if you don’t fully lock a cartridge, it causes this Oki sensor error. Double check the necessary cartridge and ensure the lever is turned to the locked position.Even if it looks locked, remove the cartridge and reinstall it just to make sure.Cause 2: The plastic shutter or flap is blocking the sensorA common issue in toner cartridges for the Oki C3000 series of printers, a sensor flap can cover the toner sensor your printer uses, which causes your error.Remove the cartridge from your printer and check if it has a sensor on the side (typically found near the lever). If it does, ensure it is not covered like the following example. If you find this is your problem, use something small like a toothpick to push the flap up into its correct position. Reinstall the cartridge and you should be good to go!Cause 3: An error with your toner cartridge or dru
