There should be a little tap under the boiler which lets water into the boiler, this is where you put the water in until it reaches the green zone. Does this help? yellowlabbie View Public Profile Find More Posts by yellowlabbie 02-03-2010, 18:33 #3 chenks Inactive Member Join Date: Jul 2002 Location: North Ayrshire Posts: 11,373 yep i know what you mean. will try that. just wonder where all the water went as it's a sealed system for the heating. chenks View Public Profile Find More Posts by chenks 02-03-2010, 18:39 #4 yellowlabbie Forum Member Join Date: Dec 2003 Posts: 42,463 Quote: Originally Posted by chenks yep i know what you mean. will try that. just wonder where all the water went as it's a sealed system for the heating. It just runs down slowly, you can have a small leak and it will just keep dripping until all the water has evaporated, so hubby says. yellowlabbie View Public Profile Find More Posts by yellowlabbie 02-03-2010, 18:48 #5 Andykel Forum Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Aberdeenshire Posts: 1,005 Hmm, poor advice above methinks. F28 on a Vaillant Ecotec signifies an ignition lockout error.
