The fuser system is composed of the hot-roll and the back-up roller. Once the toner is transferred to the paper, heat and pressure are applied by the fuser to create the permanent image. The fuser is what makes the paper warm when it comes from a laser printer.fuser might have loosened and moved out of place so you will need to make sure its fixed. http://www.printertechs.com/tech/loosefusertabs.php Ask Your Own Printers Question Customer: replied7 years ago. While you've explained what a Fuser is and suggest it may have come loose, I still don't know how to remedy it since I'm not at all sure where the Fuser is. I did pull out the Imagining drum and re install, but that had no affect. I'm a bit of a computerphobic, so I need very specific directions. Expert: mike replied7 years ago. hiFor any fuser error, the first thing that should be done is replacing the fuser. If the error still shows up after wards, it could be the LVPS (Low voltage power supply) or a board.I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself.you may need a new fuser so its better to take it to repair shop and let them do it for you.If you want to do it yourself:To remove the fuser, complete the following steps.Turn off the device, and then disconnect the power cable.Rotate the locks on the fuser to the unlocked position.1: Rotate the locksGrasp the fuser handle and pull the fuser assembly from the device.2: Pull the Fuser assemblyThe parts on the internal surface of the fuser are very hot. To avoid from heat, do not touch those parts.Usin
