The client would always get an IP address from the DHCP server running ghost error on our 2k8 R2 machine - that was until yesterday. Now we get an error from the Ghost client saying it can't find a DHCP server. Nothing has changed from the Ghost perspective - we have several USB drives for different hardware and all have failed over night with the same error - so there must be something wrong with ghost error 19913 the DHCP server. I can't think of anything that has changed with it either though. Looking at the log files in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DHCP there is no mention of failed attempts to get an IP address but when I look at the statistics for the DHCP server (right click -> Display Statistics) I can see the number of "Discovers" and "Offers" going up by 4 every time I boot a PC off a USB drive. This would suggest DHCP requests are getting to the server but for some reason no addresses are being handed out. There is a Network Access Policy Server running on the same box but Network Access Protection is disabled for all DHCP scopes on that server. We only have one DHCP server. Any ideas?Hibs Ya Bass! Anyway, I am trying to create an image of a Dell Optiplex 980 with and Intel 82578DM NIC. On our Ghost server, I use the boot wizard to create a floopy to boot the Dell from. I downloaded the DOS drivers and everything seems to go fine, but after I boot the Dell from the floppy and go to multicast, I get: Application Error 19913 Unable to start TCP/IP Can't find DHCP Server Possible Network setup problem The Ghost server and the Dell that I am trying to create an image from, are connected to each other using a Netgear switch. We have used this setup many times before on other Dell systems and it works fine. Any ideas?
