I know this https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH110637.html issue has already been seen through this forum, but I can't manage to get it right on my PC following differents solutions. Let me resume my problem. I've acquired not so long ago my DELL XPS 8100 WIN 7 64bits with 2 SATA HDD set in a RAID 0 mode. I installed Ghost 15 and made an image of my basic and updated system right away. Then I just started to tweak around installing other soft and https://community.norton.com/en/forums/ghost-15-no-disk-detected organising my HDD space by resizing/moving/creating partitions (that may be the problem, I'm not quite qure about it). I continued installing other softwares and then, getting everything in place, wanted to create another image of my ready-to-use system. Surprise ! No disk found. I tried with the recovery CD, same fate. I tried the solutions I found in this forum concerning problems very similar to mine with BOOTIT NG, but still no success. I tried to uninstall/reinstall Ghost (in despair xD), and of course no change. I'm now relying to you and your experience to maybe get this issue solved as I'm not a specialist of partitions, boot cfg, etc... Here is my partinfo file attached, and it seems I'm not having this overlapping partition problem (but as I said, I'm not a specialist). Hoping you'll be able to help me, or at least allow me to move a little step further in this case, I'm thanking you in advance for your concern. Cya ! I am connected to the HOST through the VMWare Infrastructure client on my xp workstation. I have a VM created, and set the CD to boot to the WINDOWS PE ghost ISO File on the network. While I'm in the symantec ghost error 525 ghost screen and navigate to a PC Image and click Ok, I get an error "NO disk drives were selected (525)". I've created a virtual disk of 15gb and the image is only 3 gb. Please help and thanks in advance. 0 Question by:typertec Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution bytypertec Ok, I finally got it to work. Turns out it wasnt looking for my the driver on the physical server that the host esx was on. It needed VMWARE SCSI drivers. I downloaded it from: http://www.vmware.com/download/ws/drivers_tools.html Go to Solution 5 Comments LVL 13 Overall: Level 13 VMware 10 Message Expert Comment by:bleeuwen2007-12-27 Is this not a problem of ghost. Don't you need to format the harddisks (create a volume) before you can put a ghostimage back? Try to make a volume first with tools like diskpar, fdisk, gparted. There are a bunch of bootable cds which can do this trick 0 Message Author Comment by:typertec2007-12-27 I dont think it's a problem with Ghost. Our images are stored in Ghost (gho) formats. I'm trying to load an image onto a new Virtual Machine. I'm booting the virtual machine using a ghost iso images. Fro
