One missing blob file on add modify groupwise 8 of users notify few of them (3 in last 2 weeks). Problems occur in attachments sent to GW internal receipients - always to the same. Suspecting some kind of GW Client "use" errors (missing attachments are DOC files and receipient maybe opened it, save again to GW ? - receipient user won't cooperate to discover what happened). GW2014 - one PO, one domain one the same server. 120 users. Anyone found similar situation ? Second question (maybe stupid): looking in offiles subdirs for lost BLOB files i found, that in different fdxx folders are blob files with the same name, different length, date. Is that possible ? Always I think files in offiles have different names. - GroupWise Error [C081] Missing Blob file onadd/modify Messages sorted by: [ date ] [ thread ] [ subject ] [ author ] Hi all Doing a restore of users mail. The initial problem appears to be a msg.db got corrupt at some stage. Some of the users mail turned in to posted items with no body in the email. Performed a restore of the post office, set https://forums.novell.com/showthread.php/477914-Error-c081-Missing-BLOB-file-on-add-modify up a restore area etc and am able to access ok from users account. Problem now is when I restore the mail I am unable to view attachments - can see the body but when I try open the attachment I get "GroupWise Error [C081] Missing Blob file on add/modify" When I http://ngwlist.com/pipermail/ngw/2009-May/136583.html am in the Backup/Restore area I can open the email and attachment just fine - when I restore the item I am unable to view it. GW 7.0.3hp1 Any ideas on what going on? Tell the client to make a new one by changing the path to the caching directory to some new folder, then go from online mode, back to caching mode and this should download and create a whole new caching mailbox for you and solve the problem. ruffychill@hotmail.com wrote: > When I try to open attachments it displays me the following message: > > "Groupwise Error c081- Missing BLOB file on Add/Modify" > > and doesn't display the attachment.
