Here's the link to the Microsoft page if you need help: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315...It could also be a piece of hardware that's malfunctioning, as I've noticed you've said you've reformated, but the problem is still there. Report • #2 maureenbopp May 12, 2010 at 10:48:53 Thanks, I'll do that. But how do I know if a piece of hardware is malfunctioning? Or if it's a software program's driver, how do I know that? I like learning this stuff. Drives me nuts not to know! ;-) Thank you! Report • #3 xryanx May 12, 2010 at 19:14:36 Very welcome!, and if it's software related to a certain piece of hardware (such as a driver), go to the Control Panel click on Performance and Maintenance and then go to

I recently tipped over my PC , which made it very slow , so i decided to restart it. After that I had problems starting up windows, so it gave me the option to use the launcher repair ( not 100% sure that its the name , but it gave me the option to use that , or to start windows normally) , and when i chose it, it just gave me an error message that it cant read my hard drive. I reinstalled windows , and formatted the partition that had windows on it ( the other partition contains my personal stuff), everything went smoothly until my new, clean desktop came up , and it started to give me the following error messages: WerFault.exe Application Error The instruction at 0x0000000075B353B5 referenced memory at 0x0000000075B353B5. The required data was not placed into memory beacuse of an I/O error status of 0x000009c. Click on the OK to termintate the program. and the other error was : WerF

Skype I/O error- doesn't connect Started by tesorodifirenze, May 28 2014 01:13 AM skype; I/O error; This topic is locked 22 replies to this topic #1 tesorodifirenze tesorodifirenze Member Full Member 38 posts Posted 28 May 2014 - 01:13 AM Hi, I am here again with a new problem after being able to resolve the Firefox's issue thanks to you. It's a problem with Skype in my girlfriend's pc: When she tries to connect she has an I/O error. I surfed the web for help and found multiple theoretical solutions because it seems a common problem. I tried most of them, deleting theskypefolder, uninstalling and re-installing the program..but no way. Skype continues to not connect even if I tried hard, therefore I'm asking to you. I copy all the txt files below, hoping to be able to solve this problem. Probably the solution will take longer than my previous problem because I can't access at her pc as often as with mine. Let's begin, hoping for the best.
