Bios setup allows clearing certain RFID errors but problem still exists after clearing the error an re-booting. Did a search in this forum, saw various responses from "systemboard needs replaced" to "in time, the issue went away". I assume some the memory locations where the bios http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=19626 code is cached are not available. Is there any way to re-allocate the cache so this issue clears up, I'm planning to sell my T20, T21 and T23 and get a T42, dont need any problems before the sale. Went into bios setup and began resetting time and date but I see no embedded controler version listed and the UUID is five groups of ff. Should I flash the bios now?
