The bad error message mumbles about a bad connection to the Exchange Server. Digging deeper, it looks like there is some corruption in the Outlook contact file and you lotus notes problems and solutions have to turn logging on and send it to Blackberry. I've run the lotus notes error messages clean utility against Exchange and don't see any obvious errors. Just close Desktop Manager, rename or delete folder, open back up resetup your PIM synchronization and then resync. Everything should resync fine without 4238 problem.
