The new memo opens up without a signature attached then when I close the new memo I get Variant does not contain an object again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 0 Question by:plymouthtube Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 63 Best Solution bySysExpert I would remove your signature file and use a signature ( without a file ) or none at all for testing purposes. Use a draft to store signature or variant does not stationary. I hope this helps ! I hope this helps ! 0 LVL 20 Overall: Level 20 Lotus IBM 13 Message Expert Comment by:brwwiggins2009-06-22 I agree with sysexpert, sounds like the mail template is wrong version or design got messed up 0 Message Author Comment by:plymouthtube2009-06-22 I have already tried refreshing and replacing design, neither one worked. I also tried compacting and running the fixup command at those did not work either. Any other ideas? 0 LVL 20 Overall: Level 20 Lotus IBM 13 Message Expert Comment by:brwwiggins2009-06-22 I've seen references to this error and upgrading the folder design. Have you tried upgrading the folder design when you replace design on the database? 0 Message Author Comment by:plymouthtube2009-06-22 I sure have brwwiggins... Is there any chance that the main template on the server could be bad? 0 LVL 63 Overall: Level 63 Lotus IBM 28 Message Expert Comment by:SysExpert2009-06-22 1) try to open it up on a different machine ( test if issue is local Client or on server )

I get "Type mismatch on external name: RECEIPT" (where "Receipt" is one of the types in my script library). I have tried: - editing and resaving the form - editing and resaving the library - Project > Clean, rebuilding everything - Shutting down and restarting Notes - Shutting down and restarting my computer Nothing has helped. Notes Help says that this means that a type has changed since the client of that type was compiled. I would have expected that rebuilding everything (including the form that has its Use statement) would solve it, but it doesn't. Any suggestions? lotus-notes lotusscript share|improve this question asked Jan 15 '14 at 20:25 sjcaged 340215 IMO this error happens when you try to use the class, not upon loading. You could try to "touch" the place where your code is used like button or form script. I have an impression that "recompile all lotusscript" sometimes does not really act on all pieces of code (or maybe something is being cached) –Normunds Kalnberzins Jan 16 '14 at 7:15 add a comment| 3 Answers 3 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote You could try: Open the database in the Desig
