However there are a few(hundred) bugs that have been resolved with incremental installer releases. So we decided to upgrade (firstly to r5.0a). I ran the installer and it completed correctly but when I launched the server it started loading normally then it came up with an error "Lotus Notes: Error 0x1007". The error appeared about 10 or so times. The server than continues to start up and finishes but if I do a "show tasks" command the only task that is shown is the database server, no router etc. if I type load router the error message shows up again. Obviously the server is trying to start the tasks from the notes.ini file and failing. I even tried to go to r5.01 but the same error resulted. Fortunatly I have a backup and have reverted to r5.0 but would still like to (oneday) be running 5.02. Anyone got any ideas. Tim Baker Return to top Lotus Notes: Error 0x1007 after upg... The failure is different based on the web browser used. For Internet Explorer for example, you get an error window with "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". For Mozillathe iManager error message is "IPP Error: 0x1007". Resolution This error indicates that the connection fails because of an untrusted CA. So there must be an issue with the SSL certificate for the server. When checked, the certificate properties show that the certificate was signed with a CA that is different from the CA of the current tree. Generating new certificates for the server based on the current tree CA fixes the problem.Recreate the certificates to the OES server by following the steps documented in this Novell Cool Solution. Additional Information Debugging steps:* enable maximum logging in iManager. The iManager log reports something like the following:03/27/09 [09:52:13.027] PropertyBook.......1582java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
IPP Error: 0x100703/27/09 [09:52:13.027] PropertyBook.......1582com.novell.emframe.dev.PageException: java.net.SocketException: Connection resetIPP Error: 0x1007 at com.novell.admin.iPrint.iPrintUtil.processExceptionWithTitle(Unknown Source) at com.novell.admin.iPrint.iPrintUtil.processException(Unknown Source)…* given that the iManager server communicates with the iPrint server through https, check the apache2 error log in /var/log/apache2/ on the iPrint server. This reports the following errors:[Fri Mar 27 15:02:34 2009] [warn] [client 192.168.1.1] [15653] authnz_ldapdn authenticate: Could not open connection to ldap server: [LDAPDN: ldap_simple_bin
