Lotus Notes Error A Required Argument Has Not Been Provided
enable; Out Of Office; OOO; agent; web access; web; error; server console; console; log.nsf; log; HTTP Server; Agent ToggleOutOfOffice; A required argument has not been provided; adminp Technote (troubleshooting) Problem In Lotus Notes, you cannot enable the Out Of Office agent using Web access and receive the following error message on the server console and/or in the log.nsf when you try: "HTTP Server: Agent 'ToggleOutOfOffice' error: A required argument has not been provided." Cause This error is generated when there is no mail file owner listed in the calendar profile. The ToggleOutOfOffice agent pulls the mail file owner from the calendar profile and creates an "adminp" request. This enables the agent order to populate the run on behalf of the mail file owner's name. If there is no name, you receive the error. Resolving the problem The workaround is to access your mail file either from the Web or from a Notes client. Choose Tools --> Preferences to bring up the calendar profile and set the mail file owner field to yourself. This works great on a WinNT server, but when we move it to a Unix platform, I get the error message A required argument has not been provided and that's all - no clue as to where the agent is falling over. If I debug the agent in the client, it doesn't throw an error at all. It's obviously something to do with the http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/46dom.nsf/869c7412fe5d56b7852569fa007826e3/1b164e392e1d343285256b6400453284?OpenDocument platform, but I don't know what - does anyone have any pointers as to what sort of thing I should be looking for?
