database resource.nsf: Note item not found RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID:xxxxxx) in database resource.nsf: Note item not found; RnRMgr; Calendar Profile; Note item not found Technote (troubleshooting) Problem After upgrading the Rooms and Resource database you start seeing http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21089324 the error "RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID:xxxxxx) in database resource.nsf: Note item not found" on multiple rooms and resources. You've run maintenance, replaced the design, created a new replica, and even rebuilt the room and resource documents http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21496037 themselves, none of which resolved the issue. Resolving the problem In this customer's case, the errors were actually referencing the entries in busytime, not the calendar profile documents themselves. To resolve the issue rebuild busytime.nsf (or clubusy.nsf if in a clustered environment) per the instructions in following technote: Title: How to recreate the busytime.nsf and clubusy.nsf databases on a Domino server Doc #: 1086471 URL: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21086471 Document information More support for: IBM Notes Calendaring and Scheduling Software version: 8.5 Operating system(s): Windows Reference #: 1496037 Modified date: 23 May 2012 Site availability Site assistance Contact and feedback Need support? Solved Error processing calendar profile document Posted on 2007-05-30 Lotus IBM 1 Verified Solution 10 Comments 4,760 Views Last Modified: 2013-11-16 Hi, We have a few instances of Domino mailfiles lotus notes being kept after the user has left, for historical tracking, etc. We also have instances where users' mail is being forwarded to alternative locations. At present, deleting the mailfiles or removing the forwarding is not an option for us. The downside of this is the many SchedMgr error messages that appear, such as: SchedMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT00000A0A) in database mail\jimjones.nsf: Cannot find user in Domino lotus notes error Directory and SchedMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT000010E6) in database mail\fredbloggs.nsf: User's mail is being forwarded to another location Having spent a long time Googling this, I'm well aware of the reasons for the messages. However, what I can't quite get to grips with is how to get rid of the damned messages!! Anyone available to provide idiot-proof instructions, taking into account my lack of Designer experience? You could just create a Deny-group and add them to it. That calendar profile could be modified probably, in the mailfile itself using the Notes client. Or there are still calendar entries for the user. Maybe you can delete these entries? I suppose nobody is interested any more in old appointments. Wordt case, you have a backup copy of the database o

Why does this occur? Cause Domino experienced time creep. Time creep can be a slowly increasing difference between Domino and Operating System time from a few seconds to minutes even hours over days. Or time creep can be a time jump where there is a sudden jump in Domino time versus OS time, where the most common jump was 1hr:13 mins as shown in this console log sample: [00673:00002--1241363936] 12/16/2008 10:21:22 AM RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT000008FA) in database mail/userone.nsf: Cannot find user in Domino Directory [00643:00002--1241003488] 12/16/2008 10:21:22 AM SchedMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT000008FA) in database mail/userone.nsf: Cannot find user in Domino Directory [00673:00002--1241363936] 12/16/2008 11:34:40 AM RnRMgr: Error processing calendar profile document (NoteID: NT000008FA) in database mail/usertwo.nsf: Cannot find user in Domino Directory [00635:00002--1241236960] 12/16/2008 11:34:40.56 AM AddInMain> DEBUG_TIMECREEP: (1): before AddInLogMsg. You can see that the time jumps from 10:21:22 AM to 11:34:40:56. This causes email to be delivered with an incorrect time stamp and it causes reporting applications that use Domino time to be incorrect. Time creep is mostly caused by inconsistent OS ticks versus OS time: Windows API - GetTickCount() and Solaris API - gethrtime() proved to return discrepant ticks in some cases. The time jump is caused by bugs in the Domino time package. These were not mainly observed in previous versions of Domino, since, due to some function calls, Domino indirectly synchronized more often to the OS time, whereas in 8x that stopped, primarily for performance reasons. Resolving the problem These issues have been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# DBRH7FRQ6R and WBKK7EKQ7X, and have been fixed in Domino 8.0.2 FP1, 8.0.3, and 8.5. SPR# DBRH7FRQ6R deals with an issue where ticks outside of the semaphore lock which allows Domino to stay in sync with OS time via polling. The default polling interval is 5 minutes, but you can change it using one of these notes.ini parameters: SERVER_TIMESYNC_INTERVAL = 1 - every 5min (default) SERVER_TIMESYNC_INTERVAL = 2 - every 1min SER
