Once we've done that we tried to replace the design so that all of 'em get re-reloaded but doesn't get loaded. So now, the user doesn't have some of these functions. Does anybody know what the fix is for this..? Thanks, Wongo Return to top error the form and subform DelOptio... (Won Song 29.Jul.05) . . RE: error the form and subform DelO... Answer There is a problem with the design of the Domino directory (names.nsf). Specifically, the new Server document and the old Subform have a field with the same name. The "Fully qualified Internet host name" is listed in both the http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21084721 Subform and the Server document. The design Element was never updated and attempting to replace the design does not resolve the problem. The only way to resolve this problem is to remove, replace, or rename the Subform and replace it with the correct version. This can be accomplished using one of the three Options below. NOTE: To resolve this problem, you need Domino Designer (referred to as Designer hereafter) and at least design access to the Domino Directory and Domino Directory template. It is also recommended that you back up the names.nsf file before attempting either of the solutions below. Refer to the Domino administration for assistance. Option #1 The first option is to remove the $SMTPServerFormSubform in the Subform section using Designer and replacing the design of the names.nsf with PUBNAMES.NTF. To remove the Subform in Designer: 1. Open the Domino Directory (names.nsf from the server) in Designer. 2. Click Shared Code (on the left-side of the screen), then select Subforms. 3. Find and remove the $SMTPServerFormS
a field entitled Subject" Technote (FAQ) Question When accessing a Lotus Domino Document Manager library, you go to a file cabinet that uses http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21166719 Notes Folders for the binder Table of Contents design. When you open a document in that file cabinet, the following error occurs: "Error, the form and subform Standard Document both have http://support.clubdemo.com/entries/79946035-Error-the-form-and-subform-deloptionsubform a field entitled Subject." Answer The error can occur in the following situations: (1) This error can occur in a file cabinet that users Notes Folders for the binder Table of lotus notes Contents when the document type is Standard Document. The error does not occur for file cabinets that use the BinderTOC ActiveX Control with the Standard Document type. This issue has been reported to Lotus software Quality Engineering. Currently, there are no plans to address it. To work around the issue, use the Lotus Domino Designer client to edit the Standard Document subform lotus notes error in the file cabinet template (filecab.ntf) and rename the Subject field. (2) This error can occur when using either the BinderTOC ActiveX control or Notes Folders design for the Table of Contents if you make an error when configuring the Advanced File Cabinet Setup and selecting or specifying the custom subforms and fields for binders or documents. To avoid the error, edit the Setup document and correct the subform or field names. Additional information The file cabinet template (filecab.ntf) contains a DocumentNotes form that contains a field named "Subject." The subform Standard Document also contains a field named "Subject." Therefore, if a document is created with the document type selected as Standard Document, the error occurs when opening the Document profile from a Notes Folder view.
