The error appears before the password prompt! His ID file is located in his home drive which is synced by Windows to use the drive/folder offline. My client runs Vista and Lotus Notes 8.5 - I do not have any admin privelegs. I have already checked the points listed in you FAQ list my ID-file does not contain national characters Notes runs under the same user account than AweSync - at least I do only have one login for my client - so I assuem that everything runs under my Vista user account the IDfile is located in the same folder than the notes.ini and it's a local folder C:\ProgramData\Notes\Data I'm using Notes 8.5 Please find attached my notes.ini File (I'm converted it into a txt File cause you system does not allow to attach the format *.ini) Hope this helps Marcus Login or register to post comments #3 Submitted by Angela Samsonova on Fri, 09/10/2010 - 7:29am. Hi Marcus, As we understand, you provided us with the file located in C:\ProgramData\Notes\Data\notes.ini From your Registry we can see that the right notes.ini (the one used by Awesync) is located here: C:\Program Files\Notes\notes.ini So, in order to enable Awesync to find your ID, you need to either 1) modify your Registry, so that it contains the path to the right notes.ini, or 2) in the notes.ini located in C:\Program Files\Notes\notes.ini you need to modify the parameter KeyFileName, so that it ponts to your correct ID file. For instance, KeyFileNa
