Lotus Notes Error Codes
questions can help troubleshoot problems with replication. Answer Are any error messages displayed? ibm lotus notes/domino has stopped working Analyze the log. Look for relevant information or error messages. Ensure that replication is enabled (File > Replication lotus notes replication settings > Settings > Basics). Was this server upgraded recently? Has the server had any environment changes? Does the server name appear in the "fully hierarchical" form, particularly in the following views https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSKTMJ_8.0.1/com.ibm.help.domino.admin.doc/DOC/H_VIEWING_CLUSTER_REPLICATION_EVENTS_AND_STATISTICS_OVER.html places? - Replication Events view - Connection documents - Console commands Verify that the intranet and extranet clocks are in syncronization. Check the number of Connection documents (make sure there are not too many) and if times are not spanning midnight. Has this issue occurred before? Did this particular replication used to work properly? If there is a set of documents http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21158590 that are not replicating, determine whether or not these documents have anything in common. [Important] Check the cutoff date. The cutoff date is specified under the File, Replication, Settings... menu option. Once in the Replication Settings choose the Other button, and enter a date in the "Only replicate incoming documents saved or modified after" field. Documents created or last modified before the cutoff date will not be replicated into the current database from other servers. The replicator always looks at the cutoff date, and only replicates documents modified after this date. Technote# 1161189 documents instances where the cutoff date is ignored. The cutoff date will not prevent replication in the cases listed in this technote. Ensure a valid date exists in the cutoff date field (see item above for more details on the cutoff date). Do not enter a future date in the cutoff date field. This can introduce issues with replication. Also check: Sequence number issues. The originator ID (OID) is a 28-byte identifier that contains a note's unique universal ID (UNID), which is essential for replication. The OID contains a U

I tried all the fix mentioned in various websites, making Anonymous access to replicate or copy documents, but with no success. The lotus notes version is 6.5 and I am creating replica from client. replication lotus-notes lotus-domino share|improve this question edited Sep 12 '12 at 12:35 kiamlaluno 15.3k124876 asked Jul 24 '12 at 15:43 Himanshu.MarJAVA 313521 I've already answered, but just realized that this is not a programming question, so it might be more appropriate for SuperUser instead of StackOverflow. It is, however, important for developers to understand the Notes security model, so I guess I'm not going to flag it. –Richard Schwartz Jul 24 '12 at 16:14 in that case i will post the same question there. I am more of a programmer so dont have much knowledge of these admin terms, but i always try to learn as much as possible. –Himanshu.MarJAVA Jul 24 '12 at 19:52 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote Check all of the ACL entries. There is a check-box for every entry labeled "Replicate or copy documents". If it is not checked for the entry that applies to you, then you are not going to be allowed to replicate. Also, note that there is a very serious side-effect from this setting, which is described in this IBM technote. Even if you check the box for the ACL entry, you will still be prevented from replicating any document that was previoulsy created or edited by you or any other user who did not have the "Replicate or copy documents" permission. (I consider this a design flaw in Domino, but IBM apparently disagrees.) BTW: Anonymous access would not apply to you with the Notes client. (Well, actually there are cases where it could, but it's unlikely this is one of them. It applies only to public Domino servers that allow unauthenticated client connections, which are very rare.) share|improve this answer answered Jul 24 '
