I wish to create a NotesSession on a Windows Server w/ the Notes client installed. I need to have a LOCAL session and I need to provide a password (have need to connect to Notes Servers where anonymous access is not permitted). I'm doing Session s = NotesFactory.createSession((String) null, (String) null, "password"); When this http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/DateAllFlatWeb/3da9d4e28d731441852576dc006468d5?OpenDocument code is run, I get 'wrong password, despite the fact that the password I've supplied is indeed the correct password for that id. I've verified that the notes\data directory is in my path variable (this is where my Notes id file lives). Does anybody know what I am doing wrong here? I'd really love to get past this error, which has been plaguing me for a couple of weeks now...Suggestions are welcome! Return to top 'Wrong Password' error when creatin... Display Modes Wrong password error when starting Notes Alias Guest Posts: n/a 05-07-2005 Hi, when I start Notes, I get an error stating that the workspace could not be loaded due to an http://www.lotusnotesforums.com/wrong-password-error-starting-notes-t2456.html invalid password. After displaying this error, Notes terminates. Before this started happening, I used to be prompted for my password and could open my workspace. I can avoid this problem by moving my ID file out of http://nuanceimaging.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/16091/~/lotus-notes%3A-invalid-username-or-password-error-after-changing-vlan-and%2F-or the notes directory and then starting Notes. Then it allows me to browse for my ID file and enter the correct password. I can't for the life of it remember where I may have set an invalid lotus notes password. Any ideas? bxtr@nospam.epix.net Guest Posts: n/a 05-07-2005 On Sat, 7 May 2005 18:01:26 +0200, "Alias" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote: >Hi, > >when I start Notes, I get an error stating that the workspace could not be >loaded due to an invalid password.
