Symptom You are unable to open any "mailto" links that are received in the Lotus Notes Client Cause An issue with the default memo form Diagnosing the problem Start>Run http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21683044 and enter the following: mailto:test@hotmail,com (or any address) This should bring up a Lotus Notes "new memo" screen. If you receive the same error, this indicates that the Memo's form is not the default form for the mail database. You can use Domino Designer to check if this is the cause of the issue, and to resolve it. Trying to manually register using the 32 and64 bit version of regsvr32.exedll didn't help either. I get the error message below regardless of the exe I use.
