The Setup Routines For The Lotus Notessql Driver Error Code 193
Can anyone help?I am trying to setup a system DSN (on SQL2K SP4) to setup a linked server to a Domino backend.I am trying to setup the SQLNotes ODBC as a System DSN but I get the error message:Microsoft ODBC Administrator'The setup routines for the Lotus NotesSQL Driver (*.nsf) ODBC driver could not be loaded due odbc driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126 to system error code 126'I can set this up as a file DSN no problem but as far as I can tell, you cannot setup a linked server to a File DSN.If anyone can tell me anything useful, I will be grateful.Wyatt.anderson@nwmhp.nhs.uk Post #478479 Timothy Ford-473880Timothy Ford-473880 Posted Wednesday, April 2, 2008 8:41 AM Ten Centuries Group: General Forum Members Last Login: Friday, October 17, 2014 11:23 AM Points: 1,027, Visits: 446 SQL Server (and IIS too) require System DSN. Install looked as if it went smoothly. When trying to add a DSN via the MS ODBC Data Source Administrator I get the following errors: "The setup routines for http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic478479-146-1.aspx the Lotus NotesSQL Driver (*.nsf) ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 126." "Driver's ConfigDSN, Config Driver, or ConfigTranslator failed Could not load the setup or translator library" I checked and the PATH envrionment variable didn't have a reference to C:\Lotus\Notes or C:\NotesSQL as it looks like it should. I added them but still no success. My registry entries look okay too. Is anyone else having this problem? Solved Lotus NotesSQL on Win7 64bit - Error 126 creating DSN (path changes already tried) Posted on 2010-12-16 Databases 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 7,426 Views Last Modified: 2012-06-10 I'm trying to get NotesSQL v8 running on Windows 7 64bit. Installed the driver, appears correctly under the 32bit ODBC configuration. error code 126 Try to create a DSN (of any type) and I get the NotesSQL Driver could not be loaded due to error 126 (c:\NotesSQL\nsqlc32.dll not found). Googled the problem, lot of people with the problem and many references to making sure PATH includes the relevant folders. So, PATH has been correctly set with the following, to find the dll's and notes.ini C:\NotesSQL C:\Users\j_andrews\AppData\Local\Lotus\Notes\Data Anyone any clues as to why I'm still getting the 126 error? Jim 0 Question by:StuckInTheMud Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google Best Solution byStuckInTheMud Found another suggestion via Google, that v8 of NotesSQL doesn't work properly on Windows 7. Tried the latest v8.51 (which isn't obvious in the downloads) and all is working fine. I fight an hour on this until I realize I need to use: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe NB I assert that since you google around
