12/09/2012 Options Permalink History Subscribe Unsubscribe "No Memory Card Error" What next? Hello Everyone. I am new here so bare with me. I tried all the "WONDERFUL' toothpick tricks and what not, to no avail. I canon pc1184 max memory card still do not have successful results. I disassembled the camera completely. I am attaching some pictures to see if anyone sees something that I am missing. Something I am overlooking. Also, is there an option to fix the memory card slot…ie. Soldering or replacing it? You can replace the card reader, as long as you find a proper replacement. The way SD card slots are soldered to the PCB makes it nearly impossible to replace. Machines, not man solders this stuff together when it's made. Out of desperation, I just opened the memory card door and blew air (with a dry mouth) into the slot 5 times and the problem is now gone!
