Canon Sd700 Is Memory Card Compatibility
Oct 14, 2011 My Elph says an SD 4gb memory card canon sd700is manual has a card error yet it shows 67 photos when installed in another camera (Nikon D7000). Another memory card error card locked card, (16gb) displays 5 photos but says the card is full when I try to take photos.Can you suggest where the problem is?Thank you. -- Leonard Reply to

If no luck try a power down reset, remove the batteries and memory card and leave 10 minutes before repowering and testing...3. If no luck then power down again and remove batteries and card and look into the memory card slot with a flashlight. Check the pins that make contact with the card are straight, if not carefully reposition them with preferably an insullated or plastic thin rod.If unable to reposition then the card reader may need replacing, this requires a serviceman and cost up to $150 to do.
