On the LabVIEW 6.1 CD there should be an executable named instmsiw.exe. Run this executable from the CD. It will attempt to fix the MSI installer on your system. 0 Kudos Message 2 of 5 (2,068 Views) Reply 0 Kudos Solution Accepted by topic author josborne 08-27-2015 06:09 PM Re: Failed to initialize installer. We now tried to install our Software on another Server. But it happened again. The same error on the second Server! As mentioned above the installation runs fine on many servers. We only have this problem on servers of one single customer. When looking in the directory mentioned in the error message the msi File is still there! SYSTEM Group has full access rights to that folder (installer). It is not a integrity problem of the msi-File itself. It runs fine on different servers. Only the Servers we wanted to install the Software 'productive' wont work ;( what else could i check?
