Attempting to install MS Office Project Standard 2007 on a Windows XP box. About 3/4 through the install, receive the following error message: "Error 1304. Error writing to file: C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Office\MEDIA\OFFICE12\BULLETS\BD21302_.GIF. Verify that you have access to that directory." I am local admin on this computer and have even gave myself full access to this directory to no avail. Checked Microsoft KB articles and the only one I came across said that it was bad media and I may need to replace CD-Rom drive. That's good and all but I'm installing from a share from our application server. :) 0 Comments [ + ] Show Comments Comments Please log in to comment https://support.software.dell.com/sql-optimizer-for-sql-server/kb/109382 Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,so that the conversation will remain readable. Could it be that your server share is corrupt? Have you tried replacing it from the CD source? What if you copy it locally and run? How are you installing it? Vanilla or with an MSP? That file is in PrjStdWW.cab in the folder of the same name - is the cab file there? Can you open it? Can you grab the file out and expand it? It should be a gif that looks a bit like a swirly, red snails shell - on its side. Hope this helps, in the absence of an answer from someone who claims to know.
