Error 1624 Error Applying Transforms
or what is going on? OS updates are current. Nothing found on the internet that addresses how to resolve this issue.Stephen B. Cooke Thursday, November 11, 2010 4:20 AM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote Hi, Installer Error 1624 means There was an error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid. Issue can be that the transform is marked Windows Installer windows installer 3.n only, and it's attempting execution on a PC with Windows Installer 2 only on it. Try to install Windows installer 3.1 on the PC ( WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe ) and re-try. It’s also a possible that the update address is not available. I suggest downloading the update package form website and install the package by yourself. Hope it helps.
