this but it doesn't seem like the support department got back to the user. They were told to install msi error 3 .Net Framework which we have version 4.5.x installed on all systems and still we have this issue. I have a log file I can send but the install even when run https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa372835(v=vs.85).aspx manually instead of scripted does the same thing every time. It acts like it's installing, (EXE or MSI) makes it through the install of the Service and the first folder then just closes no error's mentioned until you go to look for the program and it's not there. It will let you run the uninstaller but Repair does nothing. I even tried copying http://forum.screenconnect.com/yaf_postst6809_Remote-Install-Silent-Error-1707-and-1709.aspx the files over from a local install that worked but no luck. I have tried two remote locations and multiple versions of Windows it does the same thing on all of them. Here are the ending errors, just as seen in this thread:http://forum.screenconne...d-install.aspx#post25303Errors:MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Note: 1: 1707 MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Note: 1: 2205 2: 3: Error MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Note: 1: 2228 2: 3: Error 4: SELECT `Message` FROM `Error` WHERE `Error` = 1707 MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Note: 1: 2205 2: 3: Error MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Note: 1: 2228 2: 3: Error 4: SELECT `Message` FROM `Error` WHERE `Error` = 1709 MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Product: ScreenConnect Client (2ecd2075221287d8) -- Installation completed successfully.MSI (c) (F8:A0) [15:16:18:765]: Windows Installer installed the product. If I run the install manually and step through the screens with the default settings, it installs successfully and reports that in the Application log. If I run it with a Setup.exe /s, everything appears to install, but the MSI log and application log report that setup failed.
