Having tried numerous suggested solutions, all to no avail, I system restored to a point before I tried to update. Following the restore I tried to open iTunes and now I'm faced with the message, "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes".Obviously reinstalling has once again proved a complete waste of time. Please help! Posted on Jan 30, 2014 8:35 AM I have this question too Close Q: New problem updating to iTunes 11.1.4 All replies Helpful answers first Previous Page 3 of 4 last Next by 光の王, 光の王 Apr 10, 2014 10:13 AM in response to turingtest2 Level 1 (0 points) Apr 10, 2014 10:13 AM in response to turingtest2 Right, just updated windows and everything installed fine sans 1 update. No idea what that was but computer restarted perfectly fine and the error still persists. I've done the right-click and repair thing again but that didn't do anything.I've got to get some rest now if not I'll have to explain why I turned up to work at 11am! Will try uninstalling and reinstalling everything again tomorrow. Got anything else for me to try? You may get a more useful error message regarding any problems during the install. If you move the components to the root of the C: drive, these commands can be used to log the installs of individual components.msiexec /i C:\AppleApplicationSupport.msi /l*v C:\Log_AAS.txtmsiexec /i C:\AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi /l*v C:\Log_AMDS.txtmsiexec /i C:\AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi /l*v C:\Log_AMDS64.txtmsiexec /i C:\AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi /l*v C:\Log_ASU.txtmsiexec /i C:\Bonjour.msi /l*v C:\Log_Bonjour.txtmsiexec /i C:\Bonjour64.msi /l*v C:\Log_Bonjour64.txtmsiexec /i C:\iTunes.msi /l*v C:\Log_iTunes.txtmsiexec /i C:\iTunes64.msi /l*v C:\Log_iTunes64.txtYou can triple-click a line to sele
