error (Network Error) is displayed immediately after adding the account to your Sonicwall. The easiest solution is to upgrade to network error the latest firmware: For 5.8, this is at least 5.8.4.0; For 5.9, this is anything after June 2014. SonicWALL TZ 200 Dell Sonicwall NSA 3500 Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Last year DYN.COM changed their cert for doing the Dynamic DNS registrations. This caused a lot of SonicWALL users difficulty since the cert is not able to be updated in the SonicWALL except by way of a firmware update. Dyn put the not yet expired old cert back in place allowing all of us to keep registering. Well, it turns out the cert is now fully expired. Thankfully, if your TZ or NSA SonicWALL can run 5.8.1.11 or newer you are in good shape. My NSA3500, plethora of TZ100's and 200's are updateable to that firmware and I have verified that it fixes the issue. Unfortunately the TZ105 is not updateable. they are still on 5.8.1.10 so they do not have a fix out in any form to help those work with Dyn. I have talked with their chat and phone support and have been told that there is not a update that I can get nor is there a time table for when one will be available. This will likely affect other SonicWALLs besides the 105 but I dont have any information on them. Short and Sweet: 5.8.1.11+ --> Dyn.com will work just fine. 5.x that is older than 5.8.1.11 --> Will no longer be able to update dyn.com. I do hope this saves someone the time and frustration of going through their overseas outsourced support. Hopefully we will see a update for those models that do not have the correct 5.x firmware soon. We tracked this issue as DTS #117184, and it was first available in SonicOS 5.8.1.11-62o. We hope to have SonicOS 5.8.1.12 posted soon, for the newer Gen5 models, such as TZ-105, TZ-205, TZ-215, NSA-220, NSA-250M, NSA-E8510. I cannot give an ETA, I'm sorry.
