favorite 41 I'm writing StoreKit-related code, and I'm getting some rather troubling error codes when I try to add a purchase to the queue. So far, I've experienced error codes -1003 and -1004 and I can't find anything about those codes on the internet. Running a product request returns valid product numbers, so I don't know why calls to [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] addPayment:aPayment]; would fail with this undocumented problem. The same code nsurlerrordomain codes also works without the errors on one device but not on another. The questions I have are, as of yet, unanswered: What do these codes mean? How can I mitigate this problem? Why are they happening for purchase attempts and not for product requests? Troubleshooting I've done includes regenerating a signing certificate and provisioning profile, changing WiFi networks, cleaning and building and reinstalling all related software and components, and none of these things individually or together have helped fix the problem. EDIT: Found a discussion about this on the Apple dev forums, but no one from Apple has responded: https://devforums.apple.com/thread/107121?tstart=75 (iOS developer account required to view) EDIT: I was hit with error code -1001 today, to add to this list of inexplicable and intermittent problems. Still no accountability from Apple, that I can find. EDIT: I have a suspicion that these error codes are randomly generated and really only indicate that the Sandbox is down. Anyone else experience this problem? ios storekit nsurlerrordomain share|improve this question edited Sep 13 '11 at 22:11 asked Jul 21 '11 at 14:59 Hyperbole 2,04621941 add a comment| 5 Answers 5 active oldest votes up vote 216 down vote accepted All error codes are on "CFNetwork Errors Codes References" on the documentation (link) A small extract

how to test your app and web site. When running on an iOS or Android simulator, test ads will be shown by default. This is a good first step in testing your implementation. We recommend also testing on real devices with real ads https://developers.facebook.com/docs/audience-network/testing following the guidance below.Testing With Real Ads Testing with real ads is a two step http://www.justanswer.com/mac-computers/59i6l-i-m-getting-error-message-1001-networking-error-whenever.html process. First step is to add testers to your app settings to enable them to see real ads before the app is approved. Second step is for those testers to use your app or mobile website while logged in to Facebook. Here are details on how to perform both steps. Adding Testers To Your App You can test your app or network error mobile website on real devices with real ads by ensuring the person testing is added to your Facebook app in any role. This is the recommended method of adding testers to your app:Go to [your app's dashboard](https://developers.facebook.com/apps) and click on the Roles tab on the left.In the Testers section, click on Add Testers button. Users can also be in the Administrators or Developers roles. We recommend the Testers role for users who need to test the network error 1001 app or website but are not allowed to view its settings on Facebook.Type the name, fbid or username of the person you want to add as a tester and click submit. You can enter multiple people here. You should now see the people you entered as Testers.Testing Mobile Apps Distribute the app to your testers' devices using your preferred distribution method. Each of the testers you added needs to have the Facebook app installed on their device and log in to it using the Facebook user id that you added to the Testers role. This is required because Facebook needs to recognize the user as a Tester on the app in order to return an ad regardless of the app's review status. The tester can now launch your app and do the steps needed to trigger the placements that you want to test. They should see a real ad. Testing Mobile Websites Each of the testers you added needs to launch the mobile browser that they will use to test your mobile website and log in to Facebook using the Facebook user id that you added to the Testers role. This is required because Facebook needs to recognize the user as a Tester on the app in order to return an ad even when the app is not yet approved. The tester can now launch your mobile
