for this postAna from IP address 209.221.240.193Hi everyone, We have installed Essbase v. 11.1.2 on our development server, and are in the process of migrating and testing our apps. I cannot run an aggregation for an network error 10054 cannot receive data ASO cube and am getting the following error message: Network Error [10054] Cannot Receive DataNetwork network error 10054 failed to send data Error [10054] Cannot Send Data I am working on a virtual machine with operating system Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition. The maximum arcserve network error=10060 allowed memory on the machine is 4 GB. I have had no problems with any of the BSO cubes that were migrated. We are assuming that the error message is caused because there is insufficient memory to error - 1042013 - network error [10054]: failed to receive data allow the aggregation to run, but I would like to know if there is any other possible reason for this error message to occur in this situation. Can you create a new app --Copy the outline and rules to the new app -----Reload -------Reagg This would rule out corruption of the object... More later if those do not work...Scoring disabled. I blogged about the issue, and the workaround, at: http://timtows-hyperion-blog.blogspot.com/2007/12/essbase-api-error-fix-geeky.html. You may need to make this change on bo

WSAEACCES (10013) http://www.network54.com/Forum/58296/thread/1278539945/Network+Error+10054+Cannot+Receive+Data Permission denied. An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. An example is using a broadcast address for sendto without broadcast permission being set using setsockopt(SO_BROADCAST). Another possible reason for the WSAEACCES error is that when the bind function is called (on Windows NT 4 SP4 or later), another application, service, or kernel mode driver https://www.proxifier.com/documentation/v3/errors.htm is bound to the same address with exclusive access. Such exclusive access is a new feature of Windows NT 4 SP4 and later, and is implemented by using the SO_EXCLUSIVEADDRUSE option. WSAEADDRINUSE (10048) Address already in use. Typically, only one usage of each socket address (protocol/IP address/port) is permitted. This error occurs if an application attempts to bind a socket to an IP address/port that has already been used for an existing socket, or a socket that was not closed properly, or one that is still in the process of closing. For server applications that need to bind multiple sockets to the same port number, consider using setsockopt(SO_REUSEADDR). Client applications usually need not call bind at all--connect chooses an unused port automatically. When bind is called with a wildcard address (involving ADDR_ANY), a WSAEADDRINUSE error could be delayed until the specific address is committed. This could happen with a call to another function later, including connect, listen, WSAConnect, or WSAJoinLeaf. WSAEADDRNOTAVAIL (10049) Cannot assign requested address. The requested address is not valid in its context. This normally results from an attempt to bind to an address that

For example my router running the TomatoUSB by Shibby firmware has a setting under "TCP Timeout" for "established" connections. This timer is triggered to close an idle connection after the user defined number of seconds. If this value is set to say 60 seconds any FTP connection that is idle for more than 60 seconds might be disconnected. Routers and firewalls will often silently close the connection, which means the software on either end of the connection may not be informed of the loss of connection and it isn't until
