often times means that the password for the username (email address) used to authenticate to the SMTP server has been changed. To resolve the issue, log in to the web interface of the Sharp MFP and update the password. You had your workstation set on DHCP instead of locking it on static, now the copier can't find it because it's still using the IP address you sent it when you created your scan profile. Either lock your workstation on a static IP or get a local DNS server involved, wipe out your scan profiles on the copier, put the local DNS server IP in the web page, and resubmit your profiles from the scanner tool on your workstation.Turns out the user was not running the Network Scanning Tool on the PC they were trying to scan to.If the Network Scanning Tool isn't running you will get the CE-02 problem.Check your SMTP server set on the copier. Chances are it's wrong. Also check the SMTP relays if there are any.You can edit your profiles by typing in the ip address of the copier in your browser. In the Network Scanner tools, un-check all profiles and apply. When that comes back, hopefully successfully, re-check profiles and apply again. This should get you going.
