Error Sharp CE-03So I was having issues with our network scanner and looked online for a solution. I didn't find much so I sharp scan to network folder selected servers are not found want to share what worked for me. My issue seemed to be the sharp network scanning tool SMTP and as soon as I checked the box the network scanner was working again. You can see the account name or authentication password is invalid. consult your network administrator image below and where I found this box. Just go to quick setup in your admin panel. Mine is easy find on any network computer by going to the IP assigned https://www.sosnfl.com/sharp-network-scanner-error-codes/ for the printer / scanner. Then check the SMTP box. Let me know if this worked for you.

Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now New Sharp FO-2081 printers will not scan to email. We have gotten the CE -- 00 error which is the most generic error ever. We network error then changed a few settings in the format of the output of the scan (b/w, pdf, 150dpi, etc) and the error went away. However, the scan does not send to email at all. We have double, tripled, quadrupled checked all of the settings. We had thought, maybe the ports are not configured into a correct VLAN, etc. The office ends up getting a new Sharp MX-4141N. We think we will run into the same issue. Nope, no network error ce matter what port the Sharp MX-4141N is plugged into, it scans to email with the same exact settings we have in the Sharp FO-2081. All the while the Sharp FO-2081 will not scan to email. Does anyone have any idea or experience with these printers? It means it knows it has a problem dealing with the network but it has absolutely no other clue whats going on. The FO-2081s were part of the family designed as Fax machine first and copy/print/scan bolted on to check off boxes, so their functionality is a little more limited than the MX is going to be. I wouldn't necessarily expect the issue to crop up on the MX just because the FO is having it for just that reason. Depending what and how much you were trying to scan (color, larger stack, High DPI, Etc.) it's possible it was just exceeding the memory capabilities of that machine. Are all the settings completely identical between machines? I.E. Sending address, SMTP Server, Username, Password, SSL Settings, DNS, etc.
