SQL Server Database Engine Question 0 Sign in to vote hi sql server error 17830 all, since we have been getting login failed for user '', not associeted with trsuted sql server connection. an existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. sspi authentication failed with errro code 0x8009030c , i ran profiler to capture the event audit: login failed , i observed that sql server agent is not being able to connect to the master database of the sql server throwing the error login failed for user '' not associated with trusted connection. this is a clustered environment and usinga named instance of sql server. can anyone pls tell why the agent cant conect to sql server and throwing login failed for user '', not associated with trusted connection error msgs. thnks nik Tuesday, July 06, 2010 7:19 PM Reply | Quote All replies 0 Sign in to vote Are you having issues with your networking to the domain controllers or connecting to the domain controllers when this occurs?
