Could anyone tell what could be wrong? No, help from boot, SP3 or changing my default gateway. thanks robin Reply With Quote 05-30-2001,08:32 AM #2 Russ Guest "network error during host resolution" (reply) This is a DNS problem. Go to TCP/IP properties in NT, and check to see what you have for your DNS servers. Then try to telnet from this server to that address (or addresses) and see if you can connect on port 53. If you do, you will not see any banner, but if it fails it will say so. If it fails, something may be blocking that port. If it connects, try using a different DNS server. Workaround is to use the Forward to host feature in the Connections tab of IMS, you'll need a relay server from your ISP (and they're probably the same ones you want to talk to about a DNS problem). ------------ Robin Hick at 5/29/01 7:15:14 AM Hello People, I see this error in my IMC.
