Cable, They had calls from Texas that had this error code. This person really helped me out a lot. If you live in Texas (as for me I live in El Paso Tx.). I cannot gaurantee you that it works anywhere else but the Time Warner Cable employee said that the server is not connected to Texas. Supposedly it was connected to Virginia which did not make make sense but that was the reason. Well here's my guide.1.Go to the Network Settings2. Go Internet Connection settings3.select custom4.you can either Select wireless or wired which ever you prefer5.select auto-detect6. IP address Setting select Automatic7. DHCP host name. Do Not Set8. (Here is the Main one) DNS Setting - Select Manual9 Primary DNS 23. 21.182. 24 Secondary DNS 69. 42. 56. 5410. The rest is automatic (MTU, Proxy Server, UPnP-[Enable]11. Press x and it should work from there. This is all from my ps3 and for ps4 is the same thing just put DNS primary and secondary code in and you'll be able to access your PSN. I hope this really helps out to you all having trouble with the Error Code 8071053D Report FB Tweet G+ Message 1 of 7 (4,315 Views) Reply 5 Likes Wallace316 First Son Registered: 08/16/2014 Offline 1 posts 08-16-2014 02:35 PM User Info Wallace316 ADD AS A FRIEND Re: 8071053D Error Code Solved! Then shut off your modem/router, for about 5 mintues, then turn the modem back up first and let it sync, then turn the router back on(if using one) and let it sync. Reconnect your power cable and flip the back swtich up again. Then make a new network connnection.None of the sites say why you need to do this though. So I suggest giving it a go, if it doesn't help give Sony a call and ask them what you need to do. error codes are a pain in the rear, mainly because Sony doesn't really give us a good way to manage these error codes. While usually proprietary for internal fixes, these do become a hassle when you get a code but know nothing about it. Much like the Mac error codes of the System codes (remember the Error Code 11?). So with error 8071053D itself, the error itself will basically sign you out of the PSN network regardless of if the PSN network is up or down. While most fixes tell you to hard boot the PS3, then hard boot your router, there's no need for the latter. FIX: First you turn off the power to your PS3 Then flip the switch on your PS3 Then pull the power cord out of the PS3 for a couple seconds. Then you can put everything back into place and turn it on. This should fix everything. I assume that there's something in memory that low-power trickle will hold in memory. When you remove all of the power, that corruption which probably likes in some memory is reset. Thus, it fixes it. It's probably a MAC-address storage but that's just a guess. But anyhow… Tags: Uncategorized // 4 Comments » OpWarLord13 Th OpWarLord13 oops but it didint work -_- jay Its the first time it happens to me is been all day long can't get into Psn and when I do a connection test it fail even to connect to internet but the live stream on the top right corner is on telling me that there is an internet connection and Netflix works also there its internet going in to the ps3 but no connectivity.
