And test to see if that fixes it. Secondly, if there are other sites on the same IIS try giving different ports. Alternatively, if you are using ip address, try computer name. As a quick fix this may work. Edit: From your comment the computer hosting the application is 172.29.3.36. Try it's name in the url i.e. http://myComputerName:8080/index.aspx. If you're running windows 7 or similar you can type 'computer name' into the start menu and select 'See the name of this computer'. Or start menu->computer (right click and select 'properties' on computer). Also, check the iis logs for more clues on the error: c:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles. My access network error (tcp_error) is through a USB Mobile Broadband (Three) and I'm at Vista SP1 My Firewall is PCTools FireWall Plus and my AntiVirus is Avast4!, both are up to date .... I've run Malwarebytes and SuperAnti Spyware and both report there are no problems and I've used CCleaner and Eusing to clean the registry, From what I've read on the internet, I'm thinking I have a registry problem of some sort, but don't know where to look ... StevePaul, that's a new one -- can't get to your ISPs website while connected by said ISP! Can you contact Three and ask them to help? I can see the site from here in the US, so it's probably not on the server end. But, it could be anything between you and them. The other computer that you can access with, is it also using Three Mobile Broadband from your house? The usual suspects are the HOSTS file and DNS servers. So most probably the proxy server that you use can't access the website. To determine a more specific reason you'll need to check (or have checked) the proxy logs. share|improve this answer answered Jun 29 '10 at 8:40 Zizzencs 589719 1 +1 for defining the source of this error message as "Bluecoat". –wfaulk Apr 10 '14 at 19:37 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms of service.
