Unknown Error Contacting Agent Wakeup Agent Failed
Windows 7 may have some communication issues with ePO, but based on KB67347, the issue is resolved with McAfee Agent 4.5 Patch1, which I've installed in my ePO.Also, ICMP echo request ping can't seem to reach any of the Windows 7 clients. Any idea why? Is this part of the reason why my clients can't execute my Tasks? 12173Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 7 replies 1. Re: Can't execute Client Tasks failed to connect error 10060 mcafee from ePO weak_pig Nov 16, 2010 2:35 AM (in response to weak_pig) In addition, I also faced another issue....I am trying to add more Windows XP based clients to my ePO System Tree. It was able to find the system and I have since added this single machine into my tree. However, this system is in Unmanaged state. I choose to Deploy Agents to this system, but the task failed.Error was "Failed to authenticate with remote system, system error: The network path was not found."At this new client system, it is running Windows XP with SP 3 and with Firewall turned on.After turning off the Firewall, I was able to deploy the agent to this system..Does this mean for every new system in my network, I need to DISABLE the FIREWALL in order to DEPLOY AGENTS? Is there any workaround for this? Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Failed To Connect Error 10060 Epo
failed: (10060) This is not a new topic as several posts have been made mcafee epo error code 10060 concerning this specific error but none have provided resolution. Network error: Connection failed: (10060) A connection attempt failed because the connected party arcserve network error=10060 did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond I have 4 PC on the same home COMCAST router. I will refer to them a https://community.mcafee.com/thread/29800?tstart=0 1, 2, 3 and 4 1 - this is the machine running FSX and Vpilot - my current configuration 2 - this is the machine which in a prior configuration had the Vpilot Client with Traffic Proxy on PC # 1 3. Laptop not related to Vatsim use 4. Laptop not related to Vatsim use All 4 machine running WIN 10, all using Norton + Malwarebytes Diagnosis: I have no problems connecting. http://www1.metacraft.com/VRC/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3933&sid=5a074161d9439ef8590e7bbe17eee87b I get the 10060 error on all Vatsim Servers I get the 10060 even when all Firewalls etc are turned off on all PC's I get the 10060 when using Vpilot on PC1 and when running remote Vpilot Client on PC2 I have monitored the port used by Vpilot and it is receiving and sending up until the port is closed so the problem does not appear to be related to " the party did not respond in a period of time. Now here's the kicker. I only get the error when PC # 4 is in use. If it is powered up and connected to the router but not being used I will not get the error. When it is being used I get the error constantly, some times within a minute or two of reconnecting to vatsim. So the problem seems to be that my router is closing the Vpilot/Vatsim port when ever PC #4 is in use. At first I suspected that it might be related to the bandwidth being used by PC4 (e.g. YouTube/Hulu ect) but its not. PC4 browsing on Facebook and my port gets closed So how do I designate my Vpilot/vatsim port as one that my router iss not allowed to close. Note: forgot to mention that

These are the network error standard Winsock error codes. This section contains the codes of network errors and their description. WSAEACCES (10013) Permission denied. An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions. An example is using a broadcast address for sendto without broadcast permission being set using setsockopt(SO_BROADCAST). Another possible reason network error was for the WSAEACCES error is that when the bind function is called (on Windows NT 4 SP4 or later), another application, service, or kernel mode driver is bound to the same address with exclusive access. Such exclusive access is a new feature of Windows NT 4 SP4 and later, and is implemented by using the SO_EXCLUSIVEADDRUSE option. WSAEADDRINUSE (10048) Address already in use. Typically, only one usage of each socket address (protocol/IP address/port) is permitted. This error occurs if an application attempts to bind a socket to an IP address/port that has already been used for an existing socket, or a socket that was not closed properly, or one that is still in the process of closing. For server applications that need to bind multiple sockets to the same port number, consider using setsockopt(SO_REUSEADDR). Client applications usually need not call bind at all--connect chooses an unused port automatically. When bind is called with a wildcard address (involving ADDR_ANY), a WSAEADDRINUSE error
