HelloCustomerIt seems like when installing your webcam that the logitech server is trying to connect to your PC to either register the webcam or install driver's, I would http://www.justanswer.com/computer-networking/1o3p4-does-a-network-error-occurred-connecting-server.html reccomend going to www.logitech.com and going to the driver's section and finding the correct driver's for your webcam. Than use those driver's to install it and see if this works.Hope this helps,Aaron P Ask Your Own Networking Question Customer: replied7 years ago. i already did that!! Expert: Michelle replied7 years ago. It seems that you installed the Yahoo! Messenger 9 and the Logitech Webcam was not compatible with webcam driver. Even with the update, the webcam will not be compatible. I would recommend uninstalling the webcam driver and Messenger 8, then reboot your machine.Install the Yahoo! Messenger 8 service first and test the application. Once you do this, install the webcam driver and test with the application that comes with the webcam (not Yahoo Messenger). Once it is confirmed that you can work the webcam with the application, open Messenger 8 and configure the webcam under Messenger 8.The following link should provide you with the answers you need to troubleshoot your problems with compatibility between Messenger 8 and your webcam. At this time, if you encounter issues with settin

I'm not able to broadcast or receive webcam images. As soon as I start my webcam, I get "Malformed DNS request detected" notices in a pop-up window in the lower right area of my screen. After a minute or so I get a "Network Error Connecting to server" message from Yahoo. The YahElite yahoo chat client webcam functions fail also... network error while Turning off Outpost Pro will result in normal webcam function with Yahoo... All other funtions work fine: Connecting to Yahoo, entering chat rooms, etc... The problem seems to be specifically connected to the webcam. Any ideas? Thanks in advance... Try this rule, and also examine your system rules to ensure there are no rules that may interfere with this one Yahoo rule, and hopefully your problem should be resolved. If you still have problems after trying this, please let us know. Paul Reply With Quote 06 Jun 2005,17:51 #3 wilberfan Guest Re: Yahoo Messenger Webcam Connect Problem I appreciate the reply!
