Norton Ghost Application Error 19235

Posted: 27-Jul-2008 | 1:34AM • 5 Replies • Permalink I have used Norton Ghost to back up all data on one of my disk's. I used fast compression and it seemed like the process worked correctly. But when i tried to recover it to disk it got to 99% https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-do-i-recover-corrupted-norton-ghost-files and gave me an error saying that the file is corrupted. I have also tried using Ghost Explorer but it needs some other file that i dont have. When i created the Ghost image it only created 1 file. Is there any way i could recover some of the data from the file? Please help this is really urgent. Thank you. Auparavant nous avions des clés USB de 2GB de Transcend et nous sommes passé sur des norton ghost 4 GB (version JetFlash 300 basic). I am trying to run the ghost now but get a 1808: Ghost Decompression Error and after aborting I get this message "Application Error 19225: Ghost has detected corruption in the image file. Please perform an integrity check on the image. If this problem persists, contact Symantec Technical Support at http://service.symantec.com" I would like to now if him making a new ghost could have ruined the old ghost and if not where did my problem come from and how do I fix it ? ghost share|improve this question asked Dec 15 '09 at 13:56 yaar zeigerman add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote You can store Ghost images in the same folder, as long as they are named differently, just like any other type of file, one should not affect the other. This error could be caused by a couple different things, such as network connectivity errors or simply a bad image. Are you imaging across a network? I have had images appear corrupted due to a drive issue so well worth checking. Howwever, the image may just be corrupt due to another issue and you need to re-image
