SymptomsGhost hangs, the status bar at the bottom of the blue and grey DOS based Ghost user interface will indicate that Ghost is trying to copy the MFT or copy the remaining parts of the MFT. Errors generated include: Error 0 " too many MFT files in the exclusion list " Error 24010 " NTFS error: Encountered BAD used MFT Record " Error 25002 " unhandled condition encountered: attr trasnlation will result in corruption of MFT table " Error 25030 " error reading MFT " Documents specific to these errors are listed below under 'References.' More important than running a scan disk and a defrag sometimes is empting your Temporary Internet Files. It causes some issues and you don't need add that crap to your disk image. I also run some diagnostics and check the event viewer for system health. No sense in creating an image of an unealthy machine. 0 LVL 74 O
